Nestlé Biessenhofen Packaging Line, Germany


A detailed simulation model of a packing line was developed together with Nestlé in order to estimate the expected filling performances. Experiments were conducted to assess the impact of different buffer dimensions between machines, to determine the technical specifications of individual equipment and to assess the impact of stoppages during the filling processes.
