During the summer we’ve performed a number of quick scans for terminals to understand the value of our new machine learning algorithms for ports and terminals. We evaluated what the impact would be on berth occupancy, ship turnaround time and ship waiting time if our Dropboard platform was used the last 12 months. These are the results:
Ship turnaround time: average reduction of 71 minutes
Waiting time: average reduction of 29.1%
Berth occupancy: average reduction of 5.4%
