Are you struggling with one or more of the following issues; unrealistic production schedules, unplanned overtime, insufficient (intermediate) storage and/or production capacity?
During this executive breakfast, we had some great discussions on Digital Twins and how a digital twin of your production system can help you overcome these issues while increasing your profitability!
This event was organized by the TechnoHub and this time it had our Director, Rienk Bijlsma, as a speaker. The event was hosted at the Duurzaamheidsfabriek in Dordrecht but you could also join online.

We hope it was also an opportunity for you to connect & network! Check some event highlights here 👇
What is a Digital Twin?
A Digital Twin of your production system is a digital model that has a live data connection to your factory. It can make realistic production schedules, predict the future, and assist your employees while deciding on orders, priority, machine allocation, maintenance and investments!
Although Digital Twins can benefit almost all production systems, the process, food & metals industry especially benefit from using a Digital Twin as they typically have complex production environments containing elements such as tanks, pipes, cranes, mixers, pasteurizers, CIP, etc.
Digital Twin systems
Systems Navigator has developed a platform architecture that can turn any simulation model into a Digital Twin. Using its fast knowledge on data analysis, simulation modelling, scenario management & application deployment in the cloud, operational decision support (both predictive, as well as prescriptive) is now available to operators around the world. In this Digital Twin, simulation models can be populated from data, start with the actual system status, and rapidly calculate multiple alternatives while selecting the best one. Operators using this Digital Twin, can make better decisions faster, while at the same time explore many other alternatives. This will save their organizations on operating costs, as well as on improving service and quality.
