What is a Digital Twin?
A Digital Twin of your production system is a digital model that has a live data connection to your factory. It can make realistic production schedules, predict the future, and assist your employees while deciding on orders, priority, machine allocation, maintenance and investments!
Although Digital Twins can benefit almost all production systems, the process, food & metals industry especially benefit from using a Digital Twin as they typically have complex production environments containing elements such as tanks, pipes, cranes, mixers, pasteurizers, CIP, etc.
