We are pleased to welcome Cadeler as a new customer of Dropboard, our planning and scheduling software purpose-built for ports and marine terminals.

Cadeler is a global leader in offshore wind installation, operating some of the world’s most advanced jack-up vessels. Their operations require precise coordination across vessels, port calls, quay usage, resources, and time-critical project schedules. As offshore wind projects continue to scale in both size and complexity, effective planning and execution at the port and terminal level have become increasingly critical.
To support these requirements, Cadeler has implemented Dropboard to enhance visibility, coordination, and control across its installation vessel planning for Ørsted's Hornsea 3 project.
Supporting complex marine operations
Marine terminals serving offshore energy projects face a unique set of challenges:
High-value assets with minimal tolerance for delay
Dynamic schedules driven by weather, vessel availability, and project dependencies
Multiple stakeholders operating within the same terminal footprint
Dropboard provides a centralized, real-time planning environment that enables teams to manage berth allocation, resource scheduling, and operational constraints within a single system. By replacing fragmented spreadsheets and manual coordination, Dropboard helps terminal operators and marine teams align plans more quickly and respond decisively when conditions change.
Why Dropboard
As project scale and operational complexity continue to increase, Cadeler sought to further strengthen visibility and coordination across terminal planning activities.
The solution supports Cadeler with:
Clear operational visibility across vessels, berths, and resources
Flexible scheduling to adapt to evolving project timelines
Improved collaboration between port, terminal, and operational teams
Reduced planning risk in high-impact marine operations
Dropboard's capabilities provide Cadeler with a single source of truth for planning and scheduling, supporting more informed decision-making and more predictable execution.
Looking ahead
We are proud to support Cadeler as they continue to deliver critical offshore wind infrastructure projects worldwide. This partnership reflects a broader shift across the maritime and energy sectors toward digital, data-driven planning tools that enhance efficiency, resilience, and operational confidence.
Welcome to Dropboard, Cadeler.
