Decision Science Forum - Ports & Waterways - 3 May, 2018
As intercontinental cargo traffic continues to grow, there is need for additional port capacity. Designing expansion projects for ports as well as projects to increase the capacity of access routes, such as the Channel Istanbul, are challenging multidisciplinary activities. Modelling these complex systems plays an important role, as it brings together the expertise in transport-economics, safety, logistics, shipping and nautical matters.
Systems Navigator is keen to launch the world’s first web based platform for modelling ports & waterways, delivering the complete picture on capacity, service level and risk under any future investment scenario.
