Dawn Foods is an American owned company, but it operates at an international level. Dawn Foods currently supplies a complete line of quality, consistent mixes, bases, icings, glazes, fillings, frozen dough, par-baked and fully baked products and equipment to the food industry, worldwide. They effectively serve five continents with their distribution and manufacturing facilities around the world.
For Dawn Foods Europe, the distribution and manufacturing facility based in the Netherlands, they introduced a new bar-code system for their inventory management. Systems Navigator supported in created an inventory system and this included printing the bar code stickers according to a standard and keeping track of the delivery of raw ingredients, as well of the finished bakery products. This system was introduced to the facility because they did not have an inventory management system.
