Systems Navigator was founded in June 1st 2003 by Rienk Bijlsma. Based on historic software sales, Rockwell Automation signs up Systems Navigator as their exclusive business partner for simulation and scheduling solutions in Western Europe. Systems Navigator also offers extensive software training and modelling services to deliver decision support systems based on simulation to its customers.
2004 - Vincent de Gast joins the company, when Systems Navigator also initiates its scheduling technology solutions. With Shell as launching customer, Systems Navigator delivers an operational scheduling solution that is tightly integrated into the operational control and Global SAP of the plant.
2005 - Hospital Navigator, a subsidiary of Systems Navigator was founded in 2005, cofounded by Andrew Hay. Hospital Navigator is a company specialised in development of operations research based decision support systems for the healthcare industry.
2006 - Systems Navigator moved into its new office in Delft, at the Delftechpark, Wallast Tower. At this new location Systems Navigator remains very close to the Technical University of Delft, one of our academic partners. At the WSC 06 conference in Monterey CA, Hospital Navigator launched the Medical Process template for Arena, a module library to model healthcare applications such as Bed Occupancy models, Accident & Emergency as well as Waiting List models.
2007 - A milestone is reached for Systems Navigator on June the 23rd, 2007 when Scenario Navigator 1.0 is released and put in use by one of our corporate customers in the food industry. At the WSC 07 conference in Washington DC, Scenario Navigator software is displayed at the exhibition, where it is very well received by simulation experts all across the industry.
2008 - Systems Navigator establishes a UK sales office in Portsmouth.
2010 - At the WSC 10 conference in Austin TX, Systems Navigator launches "Simulation in the Cloud". The 1st web based framework for collaboration and delivery of simulation based decision support solutions. Based around Scenario Navigator software, Systems Navigator is now capable to host complex decision support systems over the internet, allowing customers to enhance their decision making anywhere, anytime.
2011 - First customer for SN Web. The project was launched in the summer of 2011, allowing global access to the decision support platform.
